SCRIPTURE:

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.  (Ephesians 6:10)

DEVOTIONAL:

Being Strong in the Lord

“Being strong in the Lord and in the power of his might” (Ephesians 6:10) is choosing to express our faith from a place of strength instead of yielding to the pressure against our flesh and our minds. The enemy presents us with images and feelings of fear, failure, hurt, abandonment, sorrow, poverty, anger, revenge, hatred, laziness, hopelessness, and the list goes on. Do not fall for it. Get full of God’s Word and let it work for you! Use God’s strength and might by faith!

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:10–12).

Read on in Ephesians, chapter six, to find out what the armor is that God has given you and how to use it!

PRAYER:

Dear God, thank you for Your strength and might. In Jesus, I stand strong against the works of the enemy for I know my battle is against the devil and not any person, group or situation. I put on Your armor and am victorious! In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen.
