Climbing to the Top Takes Faith

SCRIPTURE:

For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another. (Psalm 75:6–7)

DEVOTIONAL:

Climbing to the Top Takes Faith

God wants you to live by your faith, not by someone else’s faith. This is an important issue in the Body of Christ. As I minister around the globe, it seems like faith is missing. I am talking about it’s missing among people who go to church, Christians. It seems like some Christians go to church because a relative goes there; or some people go just for entertainment…“Oh, they’ve got some good music down at that church!”

But, what about faith? Are you going to church so that your faith is growing? Strong faith is what you’re going to need if you get sick or have an attack on your finances. Climbing to the top takes faith. Faith is the only way that you can stop the enemy from stopping you. If you’re trying to transform a company, community, or city, the enemy will try to derail and defeat you. He knows you are there to dismantle his system.

So, you have to be longsuffering and understand that people do not determine your destiny or promote you. Psalm 75 says God is the judge and promotion comes from Him. All you have to do is be faithful to God. Do the things that God says and He will promote you.

PRAYER:

Dear God, I examine myself right now. Am I going to church so that my faith is growing? I thank You, Father, for giving me strong faith that will stop the enemy’s attacks and bring Your transforming power into my situation. In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen.
