SCRIPTURE:

And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the Lord of hosts. (Malachi 3:12)

DEVOTIONAL:

All Nations Shall Call Me Blessed

Malachi, chapter 3, says in verse 12, “And all nations shall call you blessed.”  In other words, there will be evidence that we have a supernatural God on our side. I know Christians like to shout and jump up and down, or look all pious and super-religious, and that’s okay. However, I don’t think that is the way “all nations” are going to see that we are blessed. God’s plan is for the Christians to have material blessings. In Deuteronomy 28, He said, We will be plenteous in goods and lenders, not the borrowers. Since God cannot lie, before Jesus returns, some of us saints are going to have to walk in this. A book was written, and I think the title is so appropriate for the Church today, Can You Stand to Be Blessed?

“And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land…” When God blesses you, He always brings you into a higher status. When we came to Chicago, Illinois to start our ministry, hardly anyone knew Bill Winston. We didn’t have much at all. In fact, all we had were our clothes in the car (an older model vehicle), about $200 in our wallet, and no place to preach. However, we had a promise from God, that if we remained faithful, we would abound in blessings. A dear sister opened her home up to us and that’s where we lived while we got our start in ministry in Chicago.

Today, things are much different. People see me in airports around the country and come up to shake my hand, saying how much they enjoy our television broadcasts. God not only blessed us, but He made us a blessing! Through it all we never stopped tithing. We honored Him with our tithes and our givings, and now He is honoring us.

SAY THIS PRAYER WITH ME:

Dear God, I praise You for every blessing You’ve given me. I commit to being faithful now and in the future to paying my tithe and giving offerings as You lead. I believe I receive the fulfillment of Your promises in my life and “all nations will call me blessed.” In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
