Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. (Galatians 6:7–8)
When Pressure Comes…Just Say No!
As soon as you get the revelation of the law of confession and begin to walk in it, you are going to experience all kinds of pressure. The devil and his demons will work overtime to throw circumstances and unbelieving people in your path to try to get you to move away from your confession of faith in God and His Word.
The world you live in is programmed to cause doubt and unbelief wherever you go. And your flesh might be your biggest challenge, especially if you are not used to living your life according to God’s Word instead of just doing whatever feels good at the time. Your old, carnal nature is selfish, negative, often afraid, and easily offended. So you must be aware of these enemies to your creative words of faith and know how to handle them.
Satan means “adversary.” He is the ultimate adversary, or one who opposes, because he is the adversary of God, who is love. Everything God does is motivated and energized by love. Everything satan does is motivated and energized by hatred. He hates God, and he hates you. Jesus said in John 10:10 that satan comes to kill, steal, and destroy you and everything that concerns you. He can do that if he can pressure you into speaking words of hate, irritation, frustration, offence, jealousy, hurt and unforgiveness.
When pressure comes…Just say no!
SAY THIS PRAYER WITH ME:
Dear God, I take authority over hate, unbelief, offence, and every pressure the devil would try to bring against me. I refuse to yield to satan or my own flesh, and I declare every word I speak will be according to God’s Word and will be motivated by love. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
