You Are Being Prepared for Greatness

SCRIPTURE:

You Are Being Prepared for Greatness

Do you ever get the sense that you are being prepared for something greater? Something more significant? Something that makes a greater impact on the world than what you are currently doing? I’ve been there—the nagging sense that there is more, followed by the longing feeling of curiosity. I would ask God, “How do I get to the more?”

Soon, I found that I was asking the wrong question. The question I needed to be asking was, “How do I become the more?” Instead of looking outside for opportunities, connections, and promotions, I started to look inside at my personality, passions, and proclivities.

Many are in search of purpose, but they are searching out of order. I’ve discovered that if you become who God has created you to be —your authentic self—purpose will actually start to find you. You hold the key. The good news is that you don’t have to change who you are to be significant.

I challenge you to leave the low self-image behind and forge a new path—your path of authenticity and significance.

SAY THIS PRAYER WITH ME:

Dear God, yes, I accept the challenge to leave my low self-image behind and forge a new path of authenticity and significance as I submit my will to You…and to become the person You’ve created me to be. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
